Who can take part

  • You have a blood cancer such as acute leukemia (in first or second remission), myelodysplasia (with few blast cells), or Hodgkin's/non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (in partial remission after other treatment).
  • You have a matched related or unrelated donor for a stem cell transplant.
  • Your transplant plan uses one of these chemotherapy or radiation combinations: FluMel, FluTBI, CyTBI, BuCy, or BuFlu.
  • Stem cells will come from your donor's bloodstream (peripheral blood).
  • You are between 18 and 60 years old.
  • Your liver function is normal (enzymes less than twice the normal level).
