- You are 18 to 75 years old.
- You have been diagnosed with both coronary heart disease (narrowed arteries) and chronic heart failure (weak heart pumping).
- Your heart's pumping strength (ejection fraction) is less than 40%.
- You have been on stable heart failure medications for at least 2 weeks.
- You do not have acute heart failure, recent heart attack or surgery, severe arrhythmias, or serious kidney/liver problems.
