RNA Vaccine for Recurrent Glioblastoma

Recurrent Glioblastoma

This trial tests a new personalized RNA vaccine made from your own tumor tissue. It is designed to help your immune system fight the cancer after it has returned. You will have surgery to collect the tumor, and then the vaccine is given to try to stop the tumor from growing again.

Who can take part

  • You are 18 or older and have a confirmed glioblastoma that has come back after initial treatment.
  • Your tumor is in the upper part of the brain, and you are able to have surgery or a biopsy to collect tumor tissue for the vaccine.
  • You finished your first round of radiation at least 90 days ago, and any side effects from past treatments have mostly resolved.
  • You have not been treated with the drug bevacizumab (Avastin) before, and you do not have an active infection or serious heart/lung condition.
  • You are willing to use birth control if needed, and you can give your consent to participate.
