Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 60 years old.
  • You have a single cartilage injury on the inner or outer side of the thigh bone in your knee, about 1 to 4 cm square.
  • The injury is severe (grade III or IV) and reaches the bone under the cartilage, as seen on MRI.
  • You've tried non-surgical treatments (like physical therapy or pain management) for at least 4 months without success.
  • You have not had any previous cartilage repair surgery or certain injections in that knee within the last few months.
