Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 65 years old.
  • You have a brain tumor above the tentorium (the membrane that separates the upper and lower parts of the brain) and are scheduled for surgery to remove it.
  • Your overall health is good to fair (classified as ASA I, II, or III by your anesthesia team).
  • You do not have a skin infection where the incision will be made.
  • You have not had a previous craniotomy (brain surgery that opens the skull).
