Comparing bone grafts for lower back fusion surgery

Who can take part

  • You must be at least 22 years old.
  • You have a condition called spondylolisthesis (a vertebra slipped forward) at grade 1 or less, along with back or leg pain from a narrowed spine.
  • You have symptoms like leg pain, numbness, weakness, or changes in reflexes.
  • You need surgery to fuse 1 to 3 vertebrae in your lower back (L1 to S1).
  • You have tried non-surgical treatments (like physical therapy or pain medication) for at least 3 months without enough relief.
  • You have not had any prior spine fusion surgery.
