Who can take part
- You have been diagnosed with major depressive disorder (without psychosis).
- Your current depression has lasted for at least a year, or you've had 3 or more depressive episodes in your life.
- You have tried at least 4 different depression treatments that didn't work well enough.
- You have been on the same depression medication and treatment plan for at least 4 weeks before starting the study.
- You are not at high risk for suicide, and you have no history of psychosis or substance abuse.
