Who can take part
- Your child must be under 14 years old.
- The malformation must be confirmed by imaging (like an ultrasound or MRI) and be growing quickly or causing symptoms or problems.
- The malformation cannot be removed completely with surgery, so sclerotherapy (injecting medicine) is an option.
- Your child must NOT be allergic to penicillin.
- Your child must NOT have a vascular tumor or a combined malformation (a mix of blood vessel and lymphatic problems).
- Your child must NOT have had previous surgery or sclerotherapy with other hardening agents for this malformation.
