Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older
- You arrived at the hospital within 24 hours after stroke symptoms started
- You had a head CT that did not show bleeding
- You had a special CT scan (CT perfusion) before treatment
- You had a blocked large artery in the front part of your brain (internal carotid or middle cerebral artery) confirmed by angiography and treated with a catheter-based procedure
- You are able to return for a follow-up visit 3 months later
