Vaccine to prevent type 1 diabetes in high-risk babies

Who can take part

  • Your baby must be between 3 and 4 months old.
  • Your baby must have a high genetic risk (over 10%) of developing type 1 diabetes before age 6.
  • At least one parent or sibling must have type 1 diabetes.
  • Your baby cannot already have diabetes or any serious health problem that affects the immune system.
  • You must agree to not give your baby any other experimental treatments during the study.
