  • You are pregnant with a single baby and are less than 26 weeks along.
  • You live in Denmark.
  • You have low levels of omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA) in your blood, tested at the start.
  • You are not currently taking any fish oil supplements.
  • You do not have certain medical conditions like hormonal, heart, kidney, or autoimmune disorders.
  • You are not on blood-thinning medications.
