Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You have a blocked artery that needs a stent.
- An OCT scan shows you have hard, calcified plaque very close to the inner wall of your artery (within 0.5 mm).
- You do not have a severe heart attack (STEMI) right now.
- Your kidneys work well enough (GFR above 30) for a follow-up imaging test, you have no contrast allergy, and you can safely return for a repeat procedure a month later.
