Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 35 years old.
  • You had a second-degree burn (superficial or deep partial thickness) covering 20% to 40% of your body.
  • The burn is on your upper limb and trunk, and at least two months have passed since the burn.
  • Your waist-to-hip ratio is about 0.8 (for women) or 0.95 (for men), and your BMI is around 25.
  • You have normal blood sugar (hemoglobin A1C around 5.6%) and are not taking diabetes medication.
  • You do not currently exercise two or more times per week and have no major health conditions like heart disease, stroke, or diabetes.
