  • Your body mass index (BMI) must be over 30.
  • You must be between 18 and 40 years old.
  • You must be able to speak English.
  • You cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You cannot have had a heart attack before.
  • You cannot have more than one of these: smoking, diabetes, heart failure, high cholesterol, or high blood pressure.
