Who can take part
- You have been diagnosed with congenital heart disease (a heart condition you were born with).
- You are 18 years old or older.
- Your kidneys work well enough (creatinine clearance is above 30 ml/min).
- Your potassium level is not too high (below 5.2 mmol/l).
- Your blood pressure is not too low (at least 100 mmHg systolic).
- You are not pregnant, and you do not have a history of swelling from ACE inhibitors or ARBs.
- You are not currently taking certain medications (such as ACE inhibitors, ARBs, lithium, or others listed by the study).
