  • Your baby had a low Apgar score (less than 3) at 5 minutes after birth
  • You (the mother) did not receive magnesium sulfate (MgSO4) or caffeine during labor
  • Your baby does not have any major birth defects
  • You did not have general anesthesia during delivery
