Who can take part

  • You must have been diagnosed with neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD) using the 2015 criteria.
  • You must have a positive test for the AQP4 antibody (a specific marker for NMOSD).
  • You must be currently having an acute (sudden) attack or worsening of NMOSD symptoms.
  • You cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding, and must agree to use two forms of birth control (non-oral) for 6 months after the last dose.
  • You cannot be allergic to any ingredient in the study drug, and you must be able to have an MRI with contrast dye.
  • Your symptoms must not have started improving before you receive the study drug.
