Who can take part

  • You are between 40 and 70 years old.
  • You have heart failure that limits your daily activities (NYHA class II–IV).
  • Your heart's pumping strength is less than 40% (low ejection fraction).
  • You have type 2 diabetes and are taking medication for it.
  • You are not pregnant, have no severe kidney disease, and haven't had a recent heart attack or sudden worsening of heart failure.
