Depression treatment based on your brain's activity

Major Depressive Disorder

This study tests a personalized treatment for depression that uses your brain's electrical activity (EEG) to guide therapy. You attend sessions where we monitor your brain's response to help improve your mood.

Who can take part

  • You have major depression and score above 14 on a depression scale at two visits one week apart.
  • Your antidepressant medication (if any) has been the same dose for at least 3 months and stays stable during the study.
  • You are between 18 and 65 years old.
  • You speak Hebrew fluently.
  • You are not currently in psychotherapy.
  • You do not have suicidal thoughts, substance abuse, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, severe eating disorder, or organic brain disease.
