Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You have type 1 or type 2 diabetes.
- You have a diabetic foot ulcer between 1 and 10 square centimeters in size (about the size of a dime to a small egg).
- The ulcer has been present for at least 4 weeks and no more than 52 weeks, despite standard care.
- At least half of the ulcer is on the foot below the ankle bone.
- The ulcer is full thickness but does not go down to the bone.
- You have good blood flow to your foot.
- You are willing to attend weekly study visits and use prescribed offloading (like a special boot or shoe).
