Who can take part

  • You have a recurrent brain tumor (like glioblastoma, astrocytoma, or midline glioma) that has come back after treatment.
  • Your tumor is 6 cm (about 2.4 inches) or smaller.
  • It has been at least 6 months since your last radiation treatment to the brain (or you have a new tumor outside the original radiation area, confirmed by biopsy or clear scan changes).
  • You are 18 years or older.
  • Your overall health is fair (able to do light activities, like walking or light housework).
  • Your blood counts, kidney and liver function are within safe limits, and you are not pregnant.
