Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • Your leukemia has returned or is not responding to treatment.
  • You are generally well enough to carry out daily activities (Karnofsky score at least 70%).
  • Your heart, lungs, liver, and kidneys are working adequately.
  • You have not had certain treatments recently, and you are not taking more than a low dose of steroids.
  • If you have had a stem cell transplant, it was at least 3 months ago and you are off immune-suppressing drugs.
