Stroke recovery study: testing brain stimulation therapy

Who can take part

  • Had a stroke at least 6 months ago, or within the last 6 months
  • Adults aged 18 to 84 years
  • Stroke affected the middle cerebral artery (a main brain artery)
  • Moderate to severe stroke symptoms (NIHSS score between 5 and 25, and mRS score of 2 or more)
  • No history of epilepsy, psychiatric disorders, or severe cognitive problems (MMSE score 15 or higher)
  • Right-handed and willing to sign consent
