Who can take part

  • You had a stroke within the last 6 months, or more than 6 months ago.
  • Your stroke affected a specific part of the brain called the middle cerebral artery.
  • You are at least 18 and under 85 years old.
  • You are right-handed.
  • You do not have epilepsy, depression, anxiety, or schizophrenia.
  • You are not taking certain medications like Valium, baclofen, or antidepressants.
  • You do not have metal implants in your head or a pacemaker.
