Who can take part

  • You are 18 to 80 years old.
  • You have a bleed in the outer part of the brain (lobar region) that is between 30 and 80 ml in size.
  • You have a stroke severity score (NIHSS) of 6 or more.
  • Your Glasgow Coma Scale score is between 5 and 14.
  • You can start treatment within 24 hours of symptoms starting.
  • You are not on blood thinners that would interfere with the study.
