Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have been diagnosed with aortic stenosis (narrowing of the aortic valve) by an ultrasound of your heart.
  • You also have either heart or blood vessel disease, or very high LDL ('bad') cholesterol (4.9 mmol/L or higher).
  • Your cholesterol is still high even after taking the highest dose of statins you can tolerate.
  • You are not already taking or allergic to PCSK-9 inhibitors.
  • You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning a valve replacement soon.
