Who can take part
- You are age 50 to under 80
- Your lipoprotein(a) blood level is high (at least 175 nmol/L)
- You have mild or moderate calcific aortic valve stenosis (not severe)
- Your blood pressure and other heart risk factors must be well controlled
- You are not pregnant or nursing
