Who can take part

  • You have type 2 diabetes and symptoms like numbness, tingling, or weakness in your lower legs.
  • You have loss of feeling in your feet, shown by a simple monofilament test.
  • You have trouble standing on one leg with your eyes open.
  • You can walk or stand for at least 5 minutes.
  • You do not have an active foot ulcer, severe foot pain, or major foot deformity.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is 35 or less.
