Hybrid scope surgery and ablation for both sides of thyroid cancer

Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 65 years old.
  • The main tumor on the dominant side of your thyroid is 1.5 cm or smaller and can be removed through a scope.
  • A small nodule (7 mm or smaller) is on the other side of your thyroid and is at least 2 mm away from the back of the gland.
  • There is no sign of cancer spread to lymph nodes on the other side of your neck.
  • You have not had any prior neck surgery, ablation, or radiation, and you are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
