Who can take part

  • Your child is between 3 and 8 years old.
  • Your child's physical status is rated ASA 1 or 2 (generally healthy or with mild disease).
  • Your child is scheduled for a surgery that is not an emergency.
  • Your child will be intubated through the mouth (orotracheal intubation).
  • Your child does not have any congenital anomalies of the head, face, or body.
