Who can take part

  • You are 18 to 49 years old.
  • You have aplastic anemia that did not get better with standard treatments like ATG and cyclosporine, or it came back after treatment.
  • You do not have a matched brother, sister, or unrelated donor available.
  • You are generally healthy enough for a transplant (Karnofsky score 60 or higher).
  • You have not had a stem cell transplant before.
