Who can take part

  • You have a solid tumor cancer that has spread to the brain, and the brain tumor is growing quickly (at least 1mm per week on recent scans) or is very close to brain swelling or a recent surgery site.
  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You are able to care for yourself most of the time (a score of 60 or higher on a scale that measures daily function).
  • Your doctors expect you to live at least 3 to 6 months.
  • You can have an MRI with contrast dye (gadolinium) and do not have end-stage kidney disease.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
