Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have between 1 and 5 brain tumors caused by a cancer type that is typically resistant to standard whole-brain radiation, like melanoma or kidney cancer.
  • You are able to care for yourself (Karnofsky score over 50%).
  • Your largest untreated brain tumor is smaller than 3.5 cm (about 1.4 inches).
  • You have not had radiation therapy to the brain before.
