Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • You must have a confirmed diagnosis of NMOSD (neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder).
  • You must test positive for a specific antibody called AQP4-IgG in your blood.
  • You must have had a recent NMOSD attack within the last month, and be currently taking 60 mg of prednisone (a steroid) daily.
  • You cannot be pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant during the study.
  • You must not have serious infections, active hepatitis B or C, HIV, or certain liver or kidney problems.
