- Your baby is born at or before 27 weeks and 6 days of pregnancy.
- Your baby is a patient in the NICU at McMaster Children's Hospital.
- Your baby has a PDA (a heart condition) that needs treatment, based on a heart ultrasound.

- Your baby does not have major birth defects, serious infections, or problems with the liver or kidneys.
