Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with paraparesis (weakness in both legs) due to a spinal cord injury between the T6 and T12 vertebrae.
  • You are between 25 and 45 years old.
  • Your leg muscles have moderate spasticity (tightness), rated as a 2 or 3 on a 0-to-5 scale.
  • You are generally healthy, mentally stable, and can follow instructions.
  • You do not have metal implants, a pacemaker, seizures, active cancer, or serious infection.
  • You agree not to drink alcohol or use recreational drugs while in the study.
