  • You are 18 to 65 years old.
  • You have a blood cancer such as acute leukemia (in remission), myelodysplastic syndrome, or a related condition with low blast counts.
  • You are planning your first stem cell transplant using a half-matched family donor.
  • Your heart, liver, kidneys, and lungs are working well enough for transplant.
  • You have a performance score of 60 or higher, meaning you can care for most daily needs.
  • You or your guardian can understand and sign the consent form.
