Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with a solid tumor that has spread to the brain (brain metastases)
  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have a good level of daily function (Karnofsky score of 70 or higher)
  • Your doctor expects you to live at least 3 more months
  • Your doctor says whole brain radiation is a good option for you
  • You speak English fluently and can give consent in English
  • You have 10 or more brain tumors or your doctor feels whole brain radiation is the best treatment
