This Phase 2 trial tests a modified form of whole brain radiation to see if it can better protect thinking and memory in adults with brain metastases. You may join even if you’ve had other cancer treatments before, as long as your situation fits the study rules.

Who can take part

  • You’re 18 or older and have brain metastases confirmed on scans and/or biopsy
  • Your overall health is fairly good (ECOG score less than 2)
  • Your cancer is a solid tumor (not a blood cancer), and you have brain lesions that fit metastases
  • Your kidney function is enough for study medicines (creatinine clearance at least 30)
  • You can start the modified whole brain radiation within 2 weeks after signing up
