CAR-T therapy for AL amyloidosis

Relapsed/Refractory AL Amyloidosis

Treatments studied

Part of Cancer, Hormones & metabolism, Immune system & allergy clinical trials.

This trial tests a new CAR-T cell therapy (GC012F) that targets two proteins, CD19 and BCMA, on abnormal plasma cells. It's for people with AL amyloidosis who have already tried at least one treatment.

Who can take part

  • You must have a confirmed diagnosis of AL amyloidosis (a type of amyloidosis caused by abnormal plasma cells).
  • The disease must be measurable through blood tests, such as high free light chains or M-protein.
  • You must have received at least one prior treatment that didn't work or stopped working (relapsed/refractory disease).
  • Your heart function must be good enough — no severe heart failure or very high cardiac enzyme levels.
  • You cannot have had prior CAR-T cell therapy or certain other targeted immune therapies.

NCT07626476Recruiting· Early Phase 1
CAR-T Cell Therapy for Advanced Light Chain Amyloidosis

This early-stage trial tests a new cell therapy using your own immune cells (genetically modified to target amyloid-producing cells) to treat light chain amyloidosis that hasn't responded to standard treatments. The goal is to help patients whose disease has come back or stopped responding to previous therapies.

NCT06983951Recruiting
Study of CAR T cells for light chain amyloidosis

This trial tests a type of immunotherapy called CAR T cells that target a protein called BCMA on abnormal cells. It is for people whose light chain amyloidosis has come back or not responded to previous treatments.

NCT07077330Not yet recruiting· Early Phase 1
CAR-T cell therapy for advanced plasma cell cancers

This trial tests a new CAR-T cell treatment that targets both CD19 and BCMA proteins on cancer cells. It may help people with multiple myeloma, plasma cell leukemia, or related cancers that have not responded to at least three prior treatments.

Beijing
NCT07395479Recruiting· Early Phase 1
CAR-T therapy study for advanced blood and solid cancers

This trial tests a new CAR-T therapy designed to target specific proteins on cancer cells. It may be an option for people with advanced blood cancers (like multiple myeloma or lymphoma) or solid tumors (like small cell lung cancer) that have not responded to other treatments.

NCT07687004Not yet recruiting· Phase 1/Phase 2
Testing sonrotoclax and a BCMA bispecific antibody for AL amyloidosis

This trial tests a combination of two targeted drugs for people newly diagnosed with AL amyloidosis. You may qualify if you have a specific genetic marker (t(11;14)) and your organs are working well enough.

Tianjin
NCT07617285Recruiting· Phase 1
CAR-T cell therapy for relapsed or refractory acute myeloid leukemia

This trial tests a new type of cell therapy called CAR-T, which uses specially engineered immune cells to target acute myeloid leukemia (AML) that hasn't responded to standard treatment. The goal is to see if this therapy can help patients whose cancer has come back or stopped responding to chemotherapy.
