Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 65 years old
  • You have a mild to moderate traumatic brain injury (GCS score 9-15)
  • You come to the hospital within 24 hours of your head injury
  • You have low vitamin D levels (less than 30 ng/mL) to get the vitamin D treatment, or normal levels to join the observation group
  • You have not taken vitamin D supplements in the past month
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding
