Who can take part
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You need to have evidence of heart muscle thickening from an echocardiogram or MRI within the past year.
- You must have at least one of these: a history of heart failure with preserved pumping function, type 2 diabetes, mild to moderate kidney disease, or high levels of certain markers in your blood or urine.
- You cannot have severe kidney disease, high potassium levels, very high blood pressure, or a very high BMI (40 or more).
- You must be able to undergo an MRI (no metal implants or pacemaker).
