Diroximel fumarate for brain bleed swelling

This study tests a medicine called diroximel fumarate to reduce swelling around a bleeding stroke (intracerebral hemorrhage). If you or your loved one have had a brain bleed within the last 48 hours and are not too severely affected, you may be able to join.

Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • The brain bleed must be within the first 48 hours and not require immediate surgery.
  • You cannot be taking a similar medication (dimethyl fumarate) for another condition.
  • You must not have a severe swallowing problem that requires a feeding tube.
  • You must be able to give informed consent and have French health insurance.
