Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older
- You had a sudden, spontaneous brain bleed (not caused by trauma or surgery) in the upper part of your brain
- Your brain bleed happened within 48 hours before you join the study
- Your brain bleed was confirmed by CT or MRI imaging
- You can have an MRI scan and a special PET scan (nuclear medicine scan) safely
- You do not have a severe life-threatening coma at the time of enrollment
