Who can take part
- You have been referred for a procedure called BPA (balloon pulmonary angioplasty) to treat a chronic blood clot condition in your lungs (CTEPH).
- Your doctor has recommended you get an MRI scan of your heart (called CMR).
- You are able to understand and agree to the study (give informed consent).
- You are 18 years old or older.
- You are not pregnant.
- You do not have a medical device that is not safe for MRI (like certain pacemakers) or severe kidney disease (eGFR below 30) or allergies to the medications used in the scan.
