Who can take part

  • You have heart failure with symptoms (NYHA class II, III, or IV) and a heart pump strength (LVEF) of 45% or less.
  • You have one of these serious coronary blockages: left main artery disease, blockage in the only remaining open artery, or blockages in all three major heart arteries.
  • Your doctor thinks you would benefit from extra heart support during and after your procedure.
  • You do not have a recent stroke (within 6 months) or any stroke with lasting nerve damage.
  • You do not have moderate or severe aortic valve disease, severe liver disease, or are on dialysis.
