  • You are scheduled for DBS surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center
  • Your planned electrode path touches a deep brain area called the caudate
  • You are 40 years old or older
  • You have Parkinson's disease or another movement disorder
  • You can understand and follow instructions during the surgery
  • You speak English
