Who can take part

  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You have coronary artery disease (blocked arteries in your heart) and need a procedure called PCI to open them
  • Your doctor plans to use the Shockwave C2 Aero device and place a stent in your artery as part of your standard care
  • You can take blood-thinning and antiplatelet medications (unless you have a known reason you cannot)
  • You can tolerate contrast dye (the fluid used during heart imaging), or your risk can be managed with medication
  • You are willing to attend follow-up visits and comply with study procedures
