Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have severe narrowing of your aortic valve (the main valve that sends blood to your body) and are scheduled for valve replacement.
  • Your heart's pumping strength is at least 40% (measured as ejection fraction).
  • You are not currently taking or allergic to the trial medicines.
  • You do not have advanced kidney disease, high potassium, or a serious liver condition.
