Who can take part
- Diagnosed with heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF)—meaning your heart's pumping strength is normal but it doesn't relax well
- Heart failure symptoms that are mild to moderate (able to do some activities but limited by shortness of breath or fatigue)
- Overweight or obese (BMI of 30 or higher)
- Blood tests or heart imaging showing signs of heart stress or structural changes
- Stable heart failure medications for at least 4 weeks before joining
- No heart attack, stroke, or worsening heart failure in the past 3 months
